Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

My sis n law Rach found this fun idea on Pinterest using glowsticks in eggs. WHat we didnt realize is that bc we live on Maui they would all be sold out, so we had to have her brother in Utah go to the party store and pick some up for us and ship them to us priority!! ha ha! Then we didnt know that it was going to take us almost 2 hours to bend, tie and tape up the glowsticks to fit in the eggs, in the which they broke and leaked all over a lot of the unopened candy and our hands and our baskets and clothes etc. . .ha ha! (the kids DID love running around in the dark with them) We didnt even finish filling all the eggs bc the kids were SO ready to get this party started! ha ha AND here's the Kicker!! the Sprinklers came on as we were filling the eggs, so we had to hurry and gather everything up and walk to our friends house to have the hunt. Luckily she lived less than a block away! BUT you know what??? . . . it still turned out to be so incredibly fun and definitely one of the more Memorable egg hunts we've ever had!!

when we got home, my kids wanted to see how big of a circle we could make by connecting all their glowsticks together, as well as how long, and Ring around the Betti. Glow fun~
