Word of Wisdom FHE

Last Monday we had 4 wonderful families over from our ward (a whoppin 27 people includin us) and had a BBQ dinner and Family Home Evening. The kids played, adults conversed, we had good food, and the kids played some more. For FHE Miss Ella conducted, Liz played the piano for our opening and closing songs and we played pass around the present game. Started off with a scripture from 1st Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" We showed a picture of the Temple and talked about how important it is to take care of our bodies. Playing pass the present game is similar to musical chairs-we all sat in a circle and passed one around while the music played. When it stopped, the people holding it got to unwrap a layer. In some of the layers there were more scriptures. We read them and kept passin around the presents until we got to the last one. There were "treasures" in it, which were really chocolate gold coins.The scripture says in D&C 89:18-19

18And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, ^ashall receive ^bhealth in their navel and marrow to their bones;

19And shall ^afind ^bwisdom and great ^ctreasures of ^dknowledge, even hidden treasures.
