$10 a strike

Upcountry Baseball-Minors League. Ethan, you played T-ball in Colorado when you were 5, and didn't play any type of baseball, (except for fun) til we moved back to Maui. Last year when you were 8 years old you played at the same baseball field that daddy played at when he was a kid. (Kalama Park in Kihei.) I used to go to his games and watch him play, cheer him on and have hotdogs, chips and candy from 7-11. That makes me feel old to watch you, son, doing the same thing. :0) You played 1st base and shortstop. I think you might be faster than daddy was though! (maybe?) He was the fastest on his team too. Good job on 3rd and 2nd and Pitching this time around! It's been great to be involved in sports and support you as a family activity! Keep up the good work son! P.S. This particular game uncle Lance was here, and to make it interesting, he offered you $10 for every person you struck out, & $10 for a homerun-3 Strikes baby:0) you were pretty stoked to get $30. Too bad Uncles' not at every game eh?
