Happy 62nd Dad! Glad to celebrate with ya in Paradise! Mama's Fish House is pretty pricey-(even for lunch if you don't split something), but it's definitely worth it on special occasions. Especially for the dessert-This is one of the prettiest desserts I've ever seen, and delicious too-it's a chocolate mousse which also has a custard center, wafer cookies for the shell, creme en glaze, and chocolate and lilikoi (passionfruit) sauces surrounding it. Now anyone that knows my dad, knows that he doesn't really like to eat, but even He can appreciate this place. Dad tried Opah fish (which he's never tried before), with Basmati rice, & vegetables with sliced avacados. I got chicken because I really don't like seafood (like, at All!!) with yummy coconut rice, pineapple salsa, and Kula vegetables. When we sat at our table they had a card that said Happy bday Tom from Mama's and they gave him complimentary icecream with pineapple chunks. It was a gorgeous day and it was great to hear old and new stories from my dad's life. You need to write a book dad:0) Thanks for hanging out with me and Leena:0)
