Xenon

Liz's 6th Grade Science Project-she chose the Element Xenon because it was the closest to the Neon colors that she loves. It is a really cool blue. She was the first one to finish her project, she worked on it a little just about everyday. (had to make a booklet with pictures and facts etc. . .On the day of her presentation she wanted to make an edible one, so we thought about making a pancake or a cookie, but a rice krispy treat sounded like it would work really well. We made some circles with black frosting and electrons out of blue m&m's, protons/neutrons out of nerds on a piece of rolled out fondant-used piping gel to help them stick. She ended with a game of Xenon Jeopardy-the winner won a box of (protons and neutrons (i mean, nerds) You did wonderful honey and glad you had even more fun eating it!
