Unlike last year when I was pregnant, and threw a whole pie-pan full of whipcream in your face and your hair, (does anybody remember that? . . . , I blame it on the hormones) . . . we decided to keep it low-key this year. Bought some of your favorite icecream cupcakes from Coldstone Creamery, (only to find out they weren't the right ones) sorry honey!! and made you a yummy steak and potato dinner with your favorite pears w/ miracle whip n cheddar cheese, and Finally after all these years I mustered up the courage to make your other favorite-stuffed mushrooms. So glad they actually worked out and were pretty delicious. |

and we had to make a trip out to dinner at Gerards Restaurant in Lahaina-We went here last year for my bday dinner-it is a french place and so good!! Seriously. . .we have been craving it for months-I posted it earlier on my blog, but i will mention the description of the food again: roasted pork tenderloin with apple tartin, rhubarb compote (wow!!), maui onion soup with gruyere cheese-it take 30 minutes to make, kids got steak with peas and carrot pureed potatoes, and Ella got pasta. We all ordered the same exact thing as last year-maybe next time we will venture out on our menu choices. For dessert we got creme brulee and chocolate cream puffs. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! We also found this cute new little toyshop. Happy birthday my honey! We love you so much and are so thankful for all you do for our family! |
