Yay-Ethans almost a Bear in Cubscouts! Passed off a bunch of achievements. I must note that he "did not", I repeat, "did not" want to call the Maui Wildlife Refuge. He had to ask them a few questions as a requirement for an achievement. He's a little more on the shy, reserved side so he wasn't too happy about this. He ended up writing what he had to say, and we put the phone on speaker, just in case no words came out of his mouth. :0). He actually did a great job! Proud of ya son!! Glad he has some confidence, because we have some more phone calls to make in the near future. The Banquet was a lot of fun. The boys had been working on a skit for weeks, and were excited to do it. The magic show by Clark Tuitele was really entertaining, and had all of us laughing-he had the kids go up on stage and dance-Ethan, again (not his thing) stood there frozen. His fellow cubscouts cheered him on anyways. Liz's team ended up winning the relay game-they had to jump with a ball between their legs . Hilarious! Next is the Pinewood Derby. . .
