It's been a while since I've blogged because we moved. . .and we just set up our computer desk last night, (thanks to my hubby-probably a 5 hour job). I've got some posts to catch up on. . .thought I 'd start with Ella's birthday. She wanted a rainbow cake, so we searched for ideas, and found this idea. Love the colors! Would have been really vibrant it I would have used food coloring gel instead of liquid, but we still were happy how it turned out. Also found a fun idea to make rainbow crayons, so the cousins could have fun coloring. So Simple!. . . peel, tear, put in ungreased muffin tins, and bake 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Us girls went to eat lunch and shop. Daddy brought home her very first bike and she got right too it. The next morning she could really ride. So happy to have a yard and culdesac. Happy birthday my sweet Ella Belles!!

Wow, I always forget that she's the same age as Reed! (He turned six on November 29th.)
That rainbow cake is brilliant, and I love that your crayons worked out! I made "earth" crayons a few years ago but did something wrong because they did not come out as nicely as yours.
Oh how rainbow fun!!! I've been dying to try the crayon thing especially with the broken crayons I keep finding around the house :)
Happy Birthday Ella... looks like it was too much fun :)
