The races are only held once a month-we've been wanting to go for a while and finally did it. My brother Lance and his girlfriend Leiau met us down there. At first it was a Honda Civic against a F250 truck, then finally the motorcycles and "funny cars" came out-the fastest we saw went over 160 miles per hour. It got really loud and there was a lot of smoke when they started off. So cool-kids had a blast. . .it was really cold and windy though,(were'nt expecting that.) Next time we'll be ready with layers, and hot chocolate.

Wow, I've never done that before. Is it that place in the middle of the sugar cane field between Kahului and Kihei? Keoni would love to do something like that, we should take him!
